Long-stroke horizontal translation for long, heavy devices
The HLT translator moves a long, cantilevered device such as a differentially pumped plasma probe or mass spectrometer over a long stroke. It supports both ends of the device against gravity and atmospheric load over the full travel.
The standard unit has 4.5″ (CF63) flanges, guide rails, a hand crank, and 30″ (760 mm) of travel. Stroke, flange size, clear ID, and mounting are all built to order.
- Strokes from 4″ to more than 60″ (100–1500 mm)
- Traveling flange and carrier take a 4.5″ (CF63) ConFlat; larger flanges available
- Chamber-side flange specified at order
- Linear bearings adjustable in place to remove play
- Adjustable support legs, 31–47″ (800–1200 mm), with floor-mount bracket; custom heights available
- Bakeable to 150°C
