Ambient KP Head with sample enclosure
For some Kelvin Probe (KP) users, ambient conditions or a glove box is the most useful arangement. This KP head uses the standard KP electronics but incorporates a closed environment for sample preparation and/or treatment under controlled conditions but at ambient pressures. The enclosed environment can be purged with a gas or gasses to facilitate particular studies. Other options include XY translation and heated samples.

Yet another version of the head is available with no sample holder or translator. By using the standard threaded mounting holes, this head can be easily adapted to the user's existing translator(s).
